There is a Chinese saying that when one drinks water, one should remember its source. Remembering one’s ancestor is very important to the Chinese. Many annual rituals and events within the family and community enabled this constant reminder. This talk attempts to share on the ritual linkages of the family, the evolution and its relevance today.
